This typically rich, savoury, well-structured red is estate-grown at Bendigo and matured in French oak casks (about 30 to 33 per cent new). The youthful 2021 vintage is deeply coloured, mouthfilling, sweet-fruited and savoury, with highly concentrated cherry, plum and spice flavours, a hint of dark chocolate, fresh acidity and good tannin backbone. Full of potential, it should richly reward cellaring to 2027+.
