93 pts - Ken Gargett (Wine Pilot)Central Otago Pinot Noir which represents more than fair value. The colour is a pale russet with a fading rim. On the nose, we have notes of animal skins, mushrooms, cherries, raspberries, bay leaves and a touch of a briary note, with a lifted core of dark cherries emerging on the palate, alongside dried herbs and floral notes. Quite a savoury style, there is very good length here, fine balance, and the wine finishes with chewy tannins. For enjoying over the next six to eight years.
