Peach, hazelnut, some mint and white flowers. It’s nutty, delivers plenty of saline and juicy Chardonnay flavour, a bright clip of acidity through nut and oatmeal flavours, some cinnamon oak influence, with a tangy almost grapefruity finish of good length. Hazelnut and pistachio on the finish, with some vanilla ice-cream character. It has brightness and regional character.
92 pts - Huon Hooke (The Real Review)Full golden tinted yellow colour in the glass; buttery, toffee, burnt sugar/crème brûlée overlying baked lemon pudding and honey aromas, a very complex and mellow bouquet. The wine is full and quite rich in the mouth, with a slight dip in the centre, a generous and broad style of chardonnay, the finish refreshingly dry with a touch of phenolic texture. It's all front and middle-palate, medium long. An open-knit, generous wine. (Tasted from a 100ml sample bottle)
