92 pts - Toni Paterson (Halliday Wine Companion)Textbook chardonnay from a strong Hunter Valley vintage. The palate has excellent flavour and breadth, enlivened by a gorgeous line of acidity. Classy peach flavours, bright lemon and the faintest influence from oak. The ripeness has been contained, allowing the wine to maintain a mouth-watering quality. It has that perfectly pitched, 'I want a glass of chardonnay' vibe. What more could you ask for at this price?
92 pts - Ken Gargett (Wine Pilot)Well priced Hunter Chardonnay with just the right amount of flavour, this will prove very popular. Straw/lemon in colour, the nose reveals notes of apples, citrus and hints of stone fruit. Neatly balanced, it does tend slightly towards the leaner end of the spectrum, but it is certainly not lacking in flavour. A wine of decent length with a lingering finish, it is attractive now and should remain so for the next two to three years.
