Bright, light purple. Viscous red fruit flavours are very tightly wound by the sauvory tannins. It has a clear line of acid in the mouth. Try it with barbequed figs wrapped in prosciutto. A lifted nose of concentrated red fruits with notes of dried herbs, charcuterie and potpourri.

With a light straw hue the nose opens with lifted melon, peach, grilled nuts and a clove/ cinnamon like character on the nose. The palate is mid weighted but with good flavour intensity. It shows succulent white peach and tinned pear juice with hints of mint and mushy peas. With a lovely pithy texture on the palate due to leaving the wine on lees in French oak.
