Deep, bright purple-red colour, with a spicy, red-fruited bouquet of mulberry and sweet cassis, almost Ribena. The wine is luscious in the mouth, seductively fruit-sweet, silken-textured and just glides across the tongue. This reminds of Eden Valley more than the Barossa floor. Rich and succulent: a revelation for Barossa shiraz.
96 pts - Andrea Pritzker MWDeep crimson, fragrant bouquet, mulberry, freshly picked blackberries, plum and cedar. Plush and mouth filling, offering excellent intensity with a core of raspberry and queen garnet plum. Excellent balance with plentiful ripe tannins, notable freshness and a lingering persistence to the close.
